Role as a Social Sciences Teacher:

As a Social Sciences Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach subjects such as Psychology, Sociology, and Criminology across KS3-KS5, inspiring students to understand and critically evaluate human society. You will be part of a department focused on innovative and engaging teaching, encouraging students to explore complex social issues and develop their analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Social Sciences lessons across KS3-KS5
  • Helping students develop critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of societal issues
  • Supporting GCSE and A-Level students with exam preparation and coursework
  • Contributing to extracurricular activities related to Social Sciences, such as debate clubs and social justice initiatives
  • Collaborating with the department to enhance the teaching and learning experience

  • A qualified Social Sciences Teacher with QTS (or currently in teacher training as an ECT)
  • A strong academic background in Psychology, Sociology, or Criminology
