Your Role as SENDCO:

As SENDCO, you will oversee SEND strategy, interventions, and staff training, ensuring that all students receive the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading SEND provision, including EHCPs and intervention planning
  • Supporting teachers in differentiation and inclusive classroom practice
  • Working with parents, carers, and external agencies to enhance student support
  • Delivering training and CPD for staff on SEND best practices
  • Monitoring progress and implementing strategies for student success

What the School is Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in SEND education
  • Either NASENCO qualified or working towards the qualification
  • A strong understanding of SEND legislation, EHCPs, and inclusion strategies
  • A collaborative and student-centred approach to SEND leadership
