Role as Head of RE:
As Head of RE, you will lead the department in delivering an engaging and thought-provoking curriculum across KS3-KS5. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of teaching and learning while supporting and mentoring colleagues within the team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading and developing the RE curriculum across KS3-KS5
- Inspiring and mentoring RE teachers to deliver outstanding lessons
- Monitoring and evaluating student progress, implementing interventions where needed
- Organising enrichment activities, such as debates, guest speakers, and trips
- Contributing to whole-school initiatives and promoting the importance of RE in the wider school community

- A qualified RE Teacher with QTS and experience teaching KS3-KS5
- A strong academic background in Religious Education or a related field
- Experience in curriculum development and leadership (or a strong desire to step into leadership)
- Excellent communication and team management skills
