Your Role as Deputy Head of Maths:

You will support the Head of Maths in driving high-quality teaching and student achievement across the department.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Teaching Maths across KS3-KS5, including GCSE and A-Level
  • Mentoring and supporting teachers within the Maths department
  • Helping to develop the curriculum and ensure the highest teaching standards
  • Leading on maths interventions and student progress tracking
  • Inspiring a love for Maths and encouraging participation in STEM initiatives

What the School is Looking For:

  • An experienced and qualified Maths teacher (QTS) with experience in KS3-KS5 teaching
  • Must be graded as a ‘Good or Outstanding’ Practitioner
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for STEM education
  • Experience in curriculum development or middle leadership
  • Ability to inspire and mentor fellow Maths teachers
